About This Course
Many nonprofit leaders rely on events for critical revenue, yet planning them can feel overwhelming, juggling ticket sales, sponsors, volunteers, and program details without a clear sense of whether the event truly pays off. This hands‑on Express Course teaches nonprofit Executive Directors, Development leaders, and key board or committee members how to design fundraising events that are both mission‑aligned and financially sustainable.
Participants learn a practical framework for planning, budgeting, and evaluating nonprofit events such as galas, murder‑mystery dinners, and trivia nights. Using simple, reusable tools such as event optimization worksheets, budget models, sponsorship and donation trackers, planning timelines, and stewardship grids, each participant learns how to develop an Event Action Plan that can later be adapted for their own nonprofit organization.
