About This Course
Regional funders, including community foundations, local corporations, family foundations, United Ways, and key major donors, are often a nonprofit’s most reliable partners, yet many organizations only interact with them through one‑off applications or sponsorship asks. This course teaches nonprofit leaders how to build and deepen relationships with regional funders once priority prospects have been identified. Participants learn to map their regional funding ecosystem, create high‑value funder profiles, craft mutual value propositions, and design simple touchpoint plans to keep relationships warm between grant cycles. Rather than focusing on which funders to research, this course concentrates on how to grow trust, alignment, and multi‑year support with the regional funders that matter most.
