About This Course
This course equips Executive Directors and development leaders of small to mid‑sized nonprofits with the tools to move from ad‑hoc fundraising to a purposeful, 12‑month strategic fundraising plan. Participants learn how to interpret a basic funding audit, identify risks and diversification opportunities, and translate organizational needs into S.M.A.R.T. fundraising goals. The course covers core revenue strategies, including grants, individual giving, sponsorships, events, and online campaigns, and shows how to organize them into a simple annual calendar with clear roles and responsibilities. Participants also explore practical ways to track key metrics to monitor progress and refine their plan over time. By the end, they will understand how to design a realistic fundraising roadmap that supports sustainability and mission‑aligned growth.
